Kim Newman
Kim has spent her career immersed in hair, fashion, and education, with experience spanning editorial work, fashion shows, creative direction, brand representation, and advanced cut and color education. Her work has taken her around the world and behind the scenes with some of fashion’s most recognized names, including Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, and Alexander McQueen.
At the heart of it all, her approach has always been personal. Kim wants every client to leave feeling beautiful, confident, sexy, and completely like themselves — just elevated.
Brookque Decroo
Brookque brings more than two decades of experience behind the chair, with a background that includes freelance education, work as an educator for Bumble and bumble, and editorial styling. Her expertise spansthe full spectrum of hair, from extension specialist and master color work to men’s cutting. She is equally drawn to timeless classics and looks with a little edge.
What defines her most is the way she connects with her clients. Brookque believes in taking the time for a thoughtful consultation, really listening, and creating a look that feels personal. Her care for the people in her chair is at the center of everything she does.
Emmie Cunningham
Emmie has built a strong foundation behind the chair and brings a natural instinct for what feels current, cool, and beautifully considered. With a sharp eye on hair and fashion, she brings a fresh point of view to her work and has an intuitive sense of what will look right on the person in her chair.She especially loves creating balayage, sun-kissed blondes, seamless long hair, and effortless styling that feels polished without looking overdone.
She’s also the heart of La Copine. Emmie approaches hair with care, and a genuine love for the craft, making every appointment feel thoughtful, easy, and personal.

La Copine is an intimate, collaborative salon built around education, creativity and a genuine love of the craft. Our assistant program is a hands-on education in the full salon experience—from color, cutting and styling techniques to client relationships and learning how to build and run a successful business. We believe the best education goes both ways: we share what we know, stay curious, and learn from one another.
We’re looking for people who are excited to make this their career—people who are dependable, engaged and take pride in showing up for themselves, their clients and the team. We expect a lot, but we give a lot in return: education, support, experience and the freedom to develop your own voice as a hairdresser. This is a place to learn, contribute and grow together.
